There are two ways you can participate in the process, either by mail or in person.

How to vote (absentee) by mail?


You must:

  • Have an email address
  • Have an ID number:  (MN-issued driver's license, Minnesota ID card or last 4 digits of Social Security Number)

Where to vote in person?


Anyone in Hennepin County can go to The Government Center to vote.
