Meet and Greet with Irene Fernando

Please join us on Thursday, January 18th at 7:00 pm at The Living Room for a meet and greet with Irene Fernando, candidate for Hennepin County Commissioner - District 2. 

Irene is a Harrison neighborhood resident and University of Minnesota graduate, where she earned degrees in business and education. In 2003, she co-founded Students Today Leaders Forever, a youth leadership non-profit headquartered in Minneapolis. In 2015, Irene was selected as a Bush Foundation Fellow and began teaching social entrepreneurship at St. Mary’s University. Currently, she works at Thrivent leading around organizational design, culture, and talent. Irene continues to contribute to the community through board and volunteer roles. 

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
